ALL FOR NOTO: An evening of support and celebration

Special event to support Noto peninsula

On January 1^st, 2024, the terrible Noto earthquake left about 250 dead, 1297 injured, and more than 12,000 homeless who, three months later, remain in 521 shelters.

A mythical part of Japanese territory, Noto peninsula is blessed with extraordinary resources and nature as well as a brilliant history. Most importantly, it is blessed with its incredibly talented residents (chefs, curators, farmers, artists, craftsmen) that make it one of Japan's most vibrant part.

Tragedy struck as the Noto peninsula was being rediscovered. Noto is a key part of Japan’s Western side, along Kanazawa, Toyama or Fukui. It is a place where Japan’s future lies.

But the earthquake has put this bright future in pause.

This is why we are hosting “ALL FOR NOTO”, an exceptional fundraising and “awareness-raising” event on May 20^th. Part of a 4 days-long series of Noto-centered events hosted in Tokyo by Esquisse chef Lionel Beccat, ALL FOR NOTO is held with the support of the ANDAZ hotel, the collaboration of top catering company FUJI BUSSAN, the coordination of Tokyo Story and the logistic support of CCI France Japon.

ALL FOR NOTO will celebrate Noto’s gastronomy and craft under the presence of some of its most celebrated chefs, farmers, and craftsmen. It will feature an exhibition of Noto photographs by Eric Martin taken just before the earthquake for Le Figaro Magazine. It will be an opportunity for encounters, and discoveries.

All earnings will go to charity organizations speefing up the recovery of Noto.

With your help, we hope to draw renewed attention on one of Japan’s richest and most exciting parts, and speed up Noto’s recovery.
