The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) is an independent research institution based in Seattle and Washington, D.C. that brings world-class scholarship to bear on the strategic environment in Asia through original, policy-relevant research.

The NBR recently published its latest Strategic Asia book at a pivotal time of economic and political upheaval in the region. The Executive Vice President of the NBR, Michael Wills, one of the book’s editors, will highlight key findings, including how countries and companies are grappling with the question of economic decoupling/derisking in the context of intensified U.S.-China strategic competition.

More information about Strategic Asia: Reshaping Economic Interdependence in the Indo-Pacific is available at https://www.nbr.org/publication/strategic-asia-reshaping-economic-interdependence-in-the-indo-pacific/

We will have 30 minutes for networking with light refreshments at the start of the event before the talk.
