Learn how the growing spread of AI is affecting your private and corporate lives (and what to do about it)
In recent years, with the development of technologies such as IoT and AI, we can anticipate a dramatic increase in innovations that create new added values by collecting and analyzing large data. Notably, the Japanese Government plans to materialize the "super smart society" (Society 5.0) by using such innovations in a cross-cutting manner.
The realization of "super smart society" will come with many benefits, such as solving the shortage of workforce resulting from the declining population (thanks to the productivity improvement), liberating humans from heavy labor, etc. The era when humans and AI/robots coexist is right around the corner and is expected to raise many foreseen and unforeseen situations, which should start to attract wide interest from the general public.
This seminar will discuss the latest trends in AI business in Japan with a focus on the legal issues and future prospects under Japanese law on how to deal with situations where big data and AI are used, as well as issues concerning patent strategy, and the examination trends of the Japanese Patent Office in AI-related inventions.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the seminar.
