AEON France Fair × BONJOUR FRANCE in the Regions
The regional offices of the French Chamber in Japan joined the AEON French Fair for the first time, celebrating French culture across Japan!
The regional offices of the CCI France-Japon (Chūbu, Kansai, and Kyūshū) were delighted to take part for the first time in the organization of the AEON France Fair 🇫🇷, in collaboration with BONJOUR FRANCE.
Held in several AEON shopping centers across Japan, this series of events celebrated French culture through music, gastronomy, and a wide range of cultural activities, while also marking the first involvement of the Nagoya and Osaka offices in this nationwide project beyond Tokyo.
In Nagoya (AEON Nagoya Dome), visitors enjoyed performances by accordionist Rie Matsumoto, whose concerts brought together audiences of all ages in a warm and festive atmosphere.
In the Kansai region (AEON Mall Tsurumi Ryokuchi and Kurashiki, Okayama), several musicians from the Chamber’s network, namely Sakae Tamada, Maxime Combarieu, Mio Koseki, Kazuko Matsumoto, performed a French repertoire featuring timeless classics such as “Aux Champs-Élysées” and “Le Temps des cerises”, bringing an authentic French touch to the event.
In Kyūshū (Fukuoka), where the Chamber has been involved for the past three years, celebrations took place at both AEON Marinatown and AEON Kashiihama. Visitors enjoyed a wide variety of activities centered around French culture, including workshops, concerts, games, quizzes, tastings, and other entertainment.
This successful edition highlights the growing momentum of French cultural promotion throughout regional Japan and further strengthens the partnership between CCI France-Japon, AEON, and BONJOUR FRANCE.
ÆON French Fair in Osaka
Tamada Sakae, a specialist in French chanson, performing several iconic French classics at ÆON Mall Tsurumi Ryokuchi in Osaka, bringing a warm and authentically French touch to the event.
ÆON French Fair in Nagoya
Accordionist Rie Matsumoto of Accordeonisterie performed on stage at ÆON Nagoya Dome, delighting and getting both children and adults dancing. Alongside her husband Frédéric, she created a warm and convivial atmosphere reminiscent of French festivities.
