Export financial support
Bpifrance support, regional support, V.I.E support… What subsidies are available to develop internationally in 2023?
There are several schemes to financially support companies in their international development projects, in the form of partial funding, low interest loans, insurance, cash advances, and reduced repayments in case a project fails.
Please note : since December 15, 2022, one of the schemes set up by the French State, the Export Recovery Voucher, has ended. This scheme covered 50% of the expenses of a French company, within a capped amount, for international support services provided by operators such as CCI France Japan.
However, the following support schemes are still available and can be applied for to support development in Japan and to finance our services :
Support offered by Bpifrance (non exhaustive):
Prospecting Support Insurance : APA covers budgets excluding tax between €10,000 and €40,000, by offering a cash advance of up to €26,000 to finance your prospecting expenses for international development. The advance is fully repaid only in the event of success of your efforts, with a minimum repayment of 30%.
International Growth Loan : a loan ranging from €30,000 to €5,000,000, without collateral, for companies that already have activity abroad or are accessing international markets for the first time.
Export Guarantee: Bpifrance can act as a guarantor and secure your international projects.
Exchange negotiation insurance : this scheme makes it possible to lock in the exchange rate in order to establish a commercial offer in foreign currency at a controlled cost and to protect the commercial margin.

Support for hiring a V.I.E:
Have you ever considered recruiting a Volontaire International en Entreprise (V.I.E) to support your establishment abroad? This solution is very financially attractive, it is managed by Business France and allows you to recruit young talent while being partially subsidized by the French State. CCI France Japan offers to host your V.I.E in one of its Business Centers. Regional councils are also mobilizing to support the export efforts of their local companies by offering regional support schemes often cumulative with national support. A few examples:
