Banh Vang: the quality of French bakery at Vietnamese prices
In July 2023, the company BANH VANG contacted CCI France Japan in search of local support to develop its Japanese customer base.
In 2014, Mr. de Champeaux founded the first French industrial bakery in Vietnam. Thanks to French expertise and reduced production costs, the company very quickly secured a high quality client base, including large scale retail, airline companies, and major food service groups.
The SAE team carried out a prospecting mission to identify new leads on behalf of Banh Vang. Several meetings and exchanges took place with major Japanese groups, leading to concrete negotiations for product supply.
Japanese companies are known for building long term, trust based relationships with their partners and therefore do not change suppliers easily. However, thanks to its perseverance, rigor, and strong competitive advantages, Banh Vang clearly deserves to be counted among their suppliers.
Our project manager continues to act as a key intermediary, relaying all proposals likely to interest both clients and suppliers. Thanks to in depth knowledge of the project, experience, and fluency in Japanese, exchanges are facilitated and encouraged. Maintaining the presence of a Japanese speaking representative in Tokyo on behalf of Banh Vang is a major asset in establishing the trust essential to any business relationship in Japan.
