CCI France Japan strengthens its presence with a local office in Hokkaido

As part of its commitment to strengthening economic ties between France and Japan, CCI France Japan has opened a local office in Hokkaido, a strategic region in the north of the country, more specifically located in Sapporo.

A major hub for agricultural and food production, Hokkaido accounts for a significant share of Japan’s supply and enjoys strong recognition for the quality of its products (“Made in Hokkaido”).

The region also stands out for its diversified ecosystem, including biotechnology, information technology, renewable energy industries, as well as semiconductors (chips), supported by a dense network of universities and research centers.

I am delighted to join the CCI France Japon as the Head of the Sapporo Office.

Based in the heart of Hokkaido, I am eager to engage with and support local businesses, introducing them to the CCIFJ’s extensive services and expertise while fostering long-term, sustainable partnerships. My focus will be on monitoring local projects and acting as a bridge to facilitate seamless exchanges between our internal teams and our Japanese partners.

I am truly enthusiastic about this new challenge and look forward to collaborating with our members and partners to explore new opportunities and further strengthen Franco-Japanese business relations.
