Champagne A. Robert : a fruitful prospecting mission

Champagne A. Robert, an estate grown producer, took part in a prospecting mission organized by CCI France Japan in March 2017. Meetings with six prospects over two days went smoothly and proved to be fruitful.

The vineyard, which dates back to 1722, already exports to several countries, particularly in Asia, but Japan represented a special case for Mr. Arnaud Robert.

“The CCI France Japan prospecting mission in the spring was very helpful to us. We deliberately took our time with Japan, as this country, which offers strong qualitative and quantitative potential, requires a certain level of export experience. Feedback from prospects was positive, and the maturity and diversity of operators allow us to reach our objectives. We are considering several follow up visits to Japan as well as participation in Foodex in February 2018”, explains Arnaud Robert, Managing Director of Champagne A. Robert.
