Event recap - Exclusive networking event with French companies from MEDEF International, Business France and French Tech
On March 31, 2026, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan had the pleasure of hosting a special networking event at L’Espace with 120 participants, in partnership with MEDEF International, Business France and La French Tech.
As part of the French Presidential visit to Japan, this event gathered a high-level delegation, highlighting the strong momentum of France-Japan economic relations.
Opening remarks were delivered by:

- Mr Frédéric Sanchez (Chairman of MEDEF International)
- Mr Louis Margueritte (Chief Executive Officer of Business France)
- Ms Julie Huguet (Director of Mission French Tech)
- Mr Dominique Restino (President of CCI Paris Ile de France)
- Mr Patrick Martin (Chairman of MEDEF)
We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Roland Lescure, Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Energy Sovereignty.
High level Executives have been also attended such as Mr. Bernard Fontana, Chairman of EDF, Mr. Jérôme Stubler, CEO of Equans and Mr. Christophe Maquet, Board Member of Veolia.
This event offered high-quality exchanges and valuable networking opportunities, fostering new connections and future collaborations between French and Japanese business communities.
