France–Japan Strategic Tech Forum 2026: A Key Event for Franco-Japanese Innovation

On September 24, 2026, Tokyo will host the France–Japan Strategic Tech Forum 2026, organized by La French Tech Tokyo in partnership with Alta Ares and Scrum Ventures. The event will bring together more than 150 stakeholders from the French and Japanese tech ecosystems to address issues at the heart of today’s strategic agenda: AI, defense, deeptech and industrial sovereignty.
Through keynotes, panel discussions and networking sessions, the forum aims to foster collaboration between startups, corporations, investors and public-sector stakeholders from France and Japan. Discussions will notably explore emerging trends in technological and industrial sovereignty, the role of AI in strategic sectors, and opportunities for stronger cooperation between the two countries.
The forum is designed for innovative startups, VC and CVC investors, French companies operating in Japan, as well as Japanese corporations looking to strengthen their ties with the French Tech ecosystem.
