Recap of the Kansai Christmas Dinner 2025 at Hôtel Fauchon

On the evening of December 9, the Kansai Desk of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCIFJ) had the pleasure of celebrating its traditional annual Christmas gastronomic dinner at Hôtel Fauchon, together with distinguished guests.

The Consul General of France in Kyoto, Ms. Sandrine Mouchet, honored us with her presence, and more than thirty participants gathered to share this festive dinner.

Thanks to the warm and elegant setting, guests were able to relax and enjoy the evening while admiring the stunning views of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Kamo River. The chef of Hôtel Fauchon delighted attendees with a refined gastronomic menu featuring crab, scallops, foie gras, salmon, and roasted duck breast, ending on a high note with the hotel’s signature dessert, “Bisou Bisou.”

What better way to close 2025 and start the new year than with a refined dinner?
We would like to warmly thank the following guests for their presence at this event: Ms. Sandrine Mouchet, Consul General of France, Benoit Rulleau, Co-CEO of Kansai Airports and CCIFJ Board Member, as well as Seiichiro Hayashi, CCIFJ Kansai Ambassador. We also extend our sincere thanks to Auberge du Tanuki Noir for sponsoring the event with its French artisanal confectionery.

The Kansai Desk wishes you all a wonderful holiday season. We invite you to follow the Chamber’s latest news and discover our upcoming events—2026 is already shaping up to be a promising year, full of opportunities!
