Looking Back at Gala Fukuoka 2026

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan celebrated a truly unforgettable edition of its Fukuoka Gala Dinner, held on May 18, 2026, at the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka. More than 130 guests enjoyed an exceptional evening dedicated to fine gastronomy, art, and emotion.

We had the honor of welcoming distinguished guests, including the Consul General of France in Kyoto, the Vice Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture, and the Vice Mayor of Fukuoka City, representing both France and Fukuoka.

Chef Masafumi Hamano, who has built a long and distinguished career in France and was the chef-owner of the restaurant Au 14 Février Saint-Amour-Bellevue, awarded two Michelin stars from 2018 to 2023, created an exclusive menu especially for this unique occasion. Guests enjoyed exceptional cuisine paired with prestigious Bordeaux wines, generously provided by the Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB).

The evening was also highlighted by a concert performed by pianist Ayako Hayashi and flutist Genta Usui, creating an elegant French atmosphere.

This 2026 edition brilliantly celebrated Franco-Japanese friendship through gastronomy, culture, and meaningful exchanges. We look forward to welcoming you again at our next edition.

Our heartfelt thanks to our partners:
