Recap of the Fukui Industries in Europe Event

This Wednesday, February 25, marked the very first event organized by the CCIFJ Fukui Desk since its opening in October 2024.
This first event, dedicated to international expansion, brought together more than 20 participants.
The first part, held in the form of a seminar, took place at Koshino Valley, a coworking space featuring a seminar room that can accommodate around sixty people.
During the seminar, Mr. Mathieu MARTIN, Ambassador of CCIFJ in Fukui, presented the key points to consider for a successful expansion to Europe.
During his presentation, Mr. MARTIN highlighted several challenges that Japanese companies may face. He also emphasized the importance of relying on a local agent or partner to facilitate entry into the European market.
Subsequently, Wejden Ben Hmiden, Manager of the Fukui Desk, presented the Chamber’s activities as well as its international business development support services.
The seminar was followed by a networking session during which participants enjoyed delicious galettes des rois, accompanied by drinks.
