Jean RENO in Tokyo? A must-see Talk-Show centered around his play “Rakuda”!
BONJOUR FRANCE is pleased to announce an exceptional event that will delight lovers of cinema and the performing arts. On Monday, April 20, from 6:00 PM, L’Espace@CCIFJ will host an exclusive Talk-Show in the presence of the iconic actor Jean RENO, a major figure in both French and international cinema.
This special moment will offer the audience a unique insight into the actor’s latest artistic project, “Rakuda”, a solo performance he is presenting in Japan. Through this work, Jean RENO will revisit the origins of this singular production, somewhere between theatre and personal storytelling. The discussion will be led by journalist Florent DABADIE, bringing his perspective to this exceptional conversation.
“Rakuda” is unveiled as a world premiere. On stage, Jean RENO is joined by director Ladislas CHOLLAT and pianist Pablo LANTY to bring to life a narrative blending music, imagery, and memories. During this soirée, Ladislas CHOLLAT will also be present to provide an overall perspective on the project.
The evening will continue with a cocktail dinner accompanied by DASSAI sake and a special menu created in tribute to Jean RENO for this unique occasion, offering guests the opportunity to extend together the magic of this artistic encounter. In addition, attendance at the Talk-Show includes access to the play “Rakuda”, performed on several dates in May, offering a complete experience.
Limited to 100 participants, this event promises a rare opportunity to get up close to a true legend of cinema in an intimate and artistic atmosphere.
