Crédit Agricole corporate and investment bank increases bonus

French bank Crédit Agricole has increased its corporate and investment banking bonus by more than 10%.

While competitors’ revenues were down last year, Crédit Agricole reported good results, including a 7% increase in its CIB division.

In March of this year, the French bank increased its corporate and investment banking (CIB) bonuses by more than 10%.

According to sources with knowledge of the decision, bond traders who outperformed other banks throughout 2023 enjoyed higher bonus growth than other teams in the CIB division.
