The French Chamber is pleased to announce an exclusive luncheon for its Supporting Members with Philippe Varin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orano, on Thursday, January 17, at the Tokyo American Club.

Orano is a French multinational group offering high value-added products and services for the entire nuclear fuel cycle, from raw materials to waste processing. Its activities, ranging from mining to decommissioning and including conversion, enrichment, recycling, logistics and engineering, contribute to the production of low-carbon electricity.

Digitalization has been reshaping the nuclear industry with the potential to answer to many challenges: from increasing efficiency to improving the security and reliability of the equipments. Data transfer, clouds or even VR tools are integrating all aspects of the field.

This luncheon will be a great opportunity to meet Philippe Varin to learn more about the structural organization of the nuclear industry in a first part and then to delve into more details on how the digitalization is changing the industry.

This event is reserved for Supporting Member Companies of the French Chamber. In order to provide our Supporting member companies the best opportunities to share experience and network with their peers, we recommend you only register C-level executives and General Managers.
