Blockchain (DLT), Smart Contracts and the Swiss crypto valley

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan is pleased to invite you to the luncheon "Blockchain (DLT), Smart Contracts and the Swiss crypto valley" organized by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCIJ) with Prof. Dr. Andreas Furrer, University of Lucerne and Partner at MME Legal, Tax, Compliance, on October 19, at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo.

Switzerland has played a central role in the development of blockchain technology. In the last 5 years many start-ups have settled in Switzerland around Zug, the Swiss crypto valley. The openness of the cantonal and Swiss authorities towards this new technology was a key location factor.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Furrer places this development in the context of growing global location competition. He will also highlight how this development can be seen in the context of the digitization of the economy.
