Let's have a talk on Crisis Management: How should companies in the Japanese market respond to urgent issues, while having a small breakfast.
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan is delighted to announce its April Café-Croissant.
This event is exclusively reserved for member companies of the French Chamber. It aims to discuss a current topic and facilitate our members networking and sharing their experiences around a small breakfast.
On April 10th (Wed), our guest will be Mr. Masami Doi, Executive Vice President at Kreab Worldwide, Managing Partner at Kreab Tokyo, and the theme will be as follows :
Crisis Management: How should companies in the Japanese market respond to urgent issues?
In recent years, Japan has seen a number of corporate scandals ranging from abuse allegations at top J-pop entertainment agency Johnny's to systematic falsification and insurance fraud at used car giant Big Motors. Our lecturer, Mr. Masami Doi, has vast experience with crisis response honed during his tenure as General Manager of the Global Communication Department at Toyota Motor Corporation (2009-2013) and is current managing parnter of Kreab Tokyo. He will explain how to respond to crisis situations based on experience and with real world examples. Mr. Doi has stated that “Even in responding to a crisis, companies must have a good strategy. Companies that failed in this lacked a strategic response.”
Important note: Our café-croissant events are discussions around a topic with an expert of this particular topic. It aims to make a subject accessible to people who do not know much about the subject and allow them to ask questions and discuss with ease.
