The Information and New Technologies Committee of the CCI France Japon is glad to announce its new seminar "docomo 5G/Iot Solutions for Digital Transformation" on Thursday, September 12. At this occasion, meet Shoichi Nakata, Director of IoT business solutions, Iot business dept. NTT docomo, Inc, to learn more about the Internet of Things.
Nowadays, even everyday and physical items are connected to the web or "talk to each other" to allow us to remotely monitor and control them. Called Internet of Things, or IoT, this technology is more relevant and is evolving faster than ever.
Docomo is amongst the leading telecommunications companies in Japan with over 73 million customers and also provides outside Japan technical and operational expertise to mobile operators and other partner companies. In recent years, docomo has been at the forefront of IoT development in Japan and Asia with the launches of programs and services.
Shoichi Nakata will share key concepts of general IoT and key success factors of IoT solutions by citing Docomo's commercial IoT service for construction industry, and will share the technology and plans of upcoming 5G services.

Shoichi Nakata is the director of IoT business in NTT docomo and has founded many IoT services to help partner companies execute DX, digital transformation, successfully.
He has more than 20 years of experiences in IT, Mobile Computing, and IoT, has worked with European mobile carriers for mobile internet service called “i-mode” and with IT giants such as Google in Silicon Valley.
