A Leadership Workshop: Lessons from Martial Arts & High-Performance Business

Executive Resilience Under Pressure brings senior leaders together for a focused, in-person session exploring how effective decision-makers maintain clarity, control, and performance in high-stakes environments.
Drawing on principles from martial arts and high-performance business, the session translates physical discipline into practical leadership frameworks relevant to today's complex operating conditions. Through expert facilitation and interactive discussion, participants will examine resilience under sustained pressure, adaptability when plans break down, and the role of timing, positioning, and presence in leadership and negotiation.
What will participants walk away with? Participants will gain practical tools to:
- remain composed and decisive under pressure
- navigate uncertainty and disruption with greater confidence
- apply structured resilience techniques to leadership, negotiation, and day-to-day decision-making
Please note: this is not a fighting session. There is no sparring or physical combat involved. Any demonstrations or activities are non-contact, controlled, and fully optional, and are designed to illustrate mindset and leadership principles rather than physical performance.
What is the Chief Kickboxing Officer (CKO) Program?
The CKO program, powered by UFC Gym Japan, is a functional training experience designed to develop resilience, adaptability, and strategic thinking. Learn how the fighting and business mindsets cross over and what the lessons of unarmed combat are that can be used to improve your professional and personal skills.
Fight training represents both physical and mental exertion, pushing individuals to their limits and enabling them to perform beyond what they previously thought possible. It brings a powerful sense of challenge, demonstrating that learning through controlled stress is one of the most effective methods for personal growth and development.
More importantly, the CKO program challenges conventional notions about fighting—not as an act of violence or dominance, but as a profound learning experience for self-discovery and self-improvement. It applies the lessons of fighting to how we think, how we act, and ultimately, how we lead.
