The Information and New Technologies Committee of the French Chamber invites you to meet Thomas Glucksmann, Head of Data Management Solutions at Diginex in Tokyo, on Friday, May 31, 2019, for an exceptional seminar on blockchain technology in the conference room "L'Espace" of the new offices of the French Chamber.

Even if hard to grasp for newcommers, Blockchain is certainly one of the most exciting technologies in recent years. To the general public, it has mostly been associated with Bitcoins and digital currencies, but it actually has huge potential in many more applications.

At this occasion, Thomas Glucksmann will defines ESG goals, blockchain technology and its application to environmental, social and governance challenges, with a focus on Japan and France.

About the speaker

Thomas Glucksmann is Head of Data Management Solutions at Diginex based in Tokyo where he leads the design and customisation of the firm’s blockchain enhanced Data Management Solutions for corporations, governments and NPOs.

Previously, he was Head of Marketing & APAC Business Development at Gatecoin, a crypto-asset exchange based in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he worked at Mt.Gox in Tokyo, another major crypto-asset exchange where he supported the firm’s international expansion and development of new service offerings. He has also been a consultant and advisor to various FinTech and blockchain start-ups in the Asia Pacific region.

He holds a BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Hong Kong.
