AKITO AKAGILACQUER ARTIST
Akito Akagi initially worked as an editor. In 1988, he relocated to Wajima to study the art of Wajima lacquerware under the renowned master Okamoto Susumu. In 1994, he established his own studio. His work and craft philosophy are well known all over Japan and overseas.
