Anne Forrest-Wilson is the Founder of L’écriture en mouvement, a non-profit organization dedicated to innovative literary experiences, and the Artistic Director of Les 24 heures du roman, an international literary project in which authors and translators collaboratively write a complete novel in 24 hours aboard a moving train.
She has extensive experience in literature, translation, and Oulipian writing practices, and has developed original methodologies for collaborative creativity and intercultural exchange. In 2015, she conceived and directed the first edition of Les 24 heures du roman in Canada, bringing together 24 francophone writers on a train journey from Halifax to Toronto. The resulting novel, Sur les traces de Champlain€i0, was widely acclaimed for its literary quality and intercultural significance.
Now based in Japan, she designs and leads projects at the intersection of literature, cultural exchange, and methodological innovation.
