Makiko GOSHISenior Officer, Financial Management Prudential Holdings of Japan
Makiko Goshi is the Senior Officer of Financial Management at Prudential Holdings of Japan (PHJ), where she also serves on the board of its key insurance subsidiary, PGF Life, and acts as the PII controller.
Makiko joined Prudential in July 2024. She started her accounting career at MITSUI & CO., LTD. and subsequently held a series of senior positions at the AIG Group and Munich Re. Her experience includes Head of Accounting, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Risk Officer. She has also been an advocate of diversity management, promoting the inclusion of women, foreigners, and different generations. In her current role, she demonstrates her leadership by advancing and promoting financial strategies, planning and managing budgets, and supporting various projects.
Makiko holds a Bachelor of Economics from Gakushuin University and a Diploma in Communicative Arabic from SOAS, University of London.
