Robert leads PwC’s Customs & Trade practice in Japan.  He is based in Tokyo and has over 25 years experience with customs and global trade, including industry, brokerage and consulting experience.  

Robert assists companies with managing their  import/export compliance on a global basis through process transformation and automation . He has broad technical experience with business planning, automation and execution in the areas of customs valuation, tariff classification, origin and free trade agreements, performing compliance audits and assisting companies in structuring their global supply chains to maximize opportunities for duty savings while minimizing exposure to customs compliance risks.

He has experience supporting clients in a wide range of industries, such as: high-tech, automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, retail, oil and gas, and chemicals.
