Shiho has held roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division (2006–2008), Google (2008–2017), Mercari US (2017–2019), ELSA Speak (2020), and several other startups. She holds degrees from Stanford University and ICU. Since 2021, she has served as an advisor to Shibuya City—her hometown—and became CEO of Shibuya Startups KK in February 2023.

As CEO, Shiho has supported or invested in over 40 startups across Japan and around the world, particularly in sectors such as the Care Economy, the Fandom and Creator Economy, and other innovative fields shaping the future of Japan and the broader global society. With professional experience spanning Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, Silicon Valley, and Washington D.C., she brings a truly global perspective to startup investment and the growth of Shibuya City’s tech ecosystem.

略歴

モルガン・スタンレー証券投資銀行部でキャリアをスタートし（2006〜2008年）、その後Googleにて約10年間、日本・アジア太平洋地域・欧州・アフリカ・米国本社で市場参入戦略・マーケティング業務に従事（2008〜2017年）。2017年からはメルカリ米国支社、2020年にはGoogleが出資するAI EdtechスタートアップELSA Speakに参画、グロース及びグローバルマーケティング統括責任者として事業成長と資金調達を牽引した。スタンフォード大学大学院および国際基督教大学卒。

2021年より故郷・渋谷区のアドバイザーとして行政とスタートアップの連携を推進し、2023年2月よりシブヤスタートアップス株式会社の代表取締役社長に就任。これまでにケアエコノミー、クリエイターエコノミーなど、日本が世界に先駆ける社会課題に挑む40社超のスタートアップに対し支援・投資を行う。世界を舞台に培った経験をもとに、渋谷から世界へと広がるスタートアップ・エコシステムの構築に取り組んでいる。
