Vanessa Jannot is an international business development and foreign direct investment (FDI) professional expert with more than twenty years of experience in consulting, sales, and business development within leading organizations.

Since 2023, she has served as International Project Manager at risingSUD, the economic development and investment promotion agency for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region in Southeast France. In this role, she supports international companies throughout their investment journey, helping them explore, establish, and grow their operations in the region.

Vanessa has built strong expertise in supporting international investment projects through a diverse career spanning both the public and private sectors. She served as Business Development Director at Business France in 2019, the French government’s trade and investment agency, and later joined WAVTEQ in 2021 as a Project Manager, advising government agencies worldwide on foreign direct investment attraction and economic development strategies.

Over the course of her career, Vanessa has developed particular expertise in the healthcare, cosmetics, and cultural and creative industries sectors.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management, specializing in Marketing and International Trade. A native French speaker, Vanessa is fluent in English, conversant in Spanish, and currently learning Japanese, enabling her to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
