Missed the 2025 French-Japanese Business Summit? Here’s the Recap

On November 6, during the 8th French-Japanese Business Summit, more than 900 leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers united to explore this year’s theme: Japan Dream -“Building Optimism in Unpredictable Times.”

From the outset, former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida set the tone by highlighting the importance of collective action in facing global challenges. Throughout the day, speakers from both countries shared perspectives on how Japan’s future can be shaped by the interplay between heritage, innovation, and international collaboration.

Panels covered crucial topics such as AI, robotics, energy, biotech and smart cities, illustrating the strength of the France-Japan ecosystem and its ability to co-create solutions for tomorrow.

CCIFJ President Jérôme Chouchan closed the Summit by reminding us that the Japan Dream rises from the balance between continuity and creativity.
