Channel Factory Japan Innovation Hub launched “CMO Experience” at “Conscious Media Night 2026”
Cross-industry leaders gathered around the theme of “Responsible Media Decisioning” in the age of AI agents
On March 25, 2026, Channel Factory Japan Innovation Hub launched a new initiative, the “CMO Experience,” at the “Conscious Media Night 2026” held at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCIFJ).
The event brought together a wide range of industry leaders, including brands, agencies, media professionals, and senior executives, as well as digital planners, creators, and journalists, to discuss the future of digital advertising in the era of AI agents.
The central theme was “Responsible Media Decisioning.”
As automation accelerates with the evolution of AI, open and practical discussions were held on the role companies and brands should play, as well as on decision-making approaches.

Session 1: Expert Talk
Mr. Takeshi Sugihara, who built his career at KDDI, Intel, Overture (now Yahoo!), and Google Japan before founding Atara in 2009, joined as an expert speaker and shared insights on media strategy and decision-making in the age of AI agents.
Session 2: CMO Experience
All participants adopted a “CMO perspective” and engaged in practical and interactive discussions on:
- AI-driven media strategies
- Balancing brand value and performance
- Decision-making incorporating social responsibility

The event also featured catering by the popular Kagurazaka-based brand KOMB, along with natural wines, fostering active networking among participants and creating opportunities for new cross-industry collaborations.
