Insights from the Frontlines of Ukraine | Special Seminar on Healthcare, Security and Crisis Management

Four years since the start of invasion, corporations, international organizations, and humanitarian groups continue to operate under challenging conditions in Ukraine. At the same time, interest in reconstruction support, future investment, and business opportunities continue to grow.
But what is happening on the ground? How are people working and living, and what risks are businesses and organizations facing? Opportunities to gain first-hand insight into these realities remain limited.
In this special seminar, Dr. Ryan Copeland, Regional Medical Director at International SOS, who is directly involved in support activities and crisis response in Ukraine, will be visiting Japan to share the latest on-the-ground situation in Ukraine, including the healthcare and security challenges.
In the second half of the seminar, Dr. Makiko Yui, Medical Director, Japan, and Yoshiro Fukuma, Regional Security Director, North Asia, will join Dr. Copeland for a panel discussion. From the perspectives of healthcare, security, and crisis management, they will explore the challenges faced by organizations operating in Ukraine and the practical lessons to be learned.
A networking reception will follow the seminar, offering an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and exchange perspectives with fellow participants involved in international business, risk management, HR, administration, and crisis management. It will also be an opportunity to gain new insights and expand your network with organizations interested in activities in Ukraine and geopolitical risks.
