Piano Trio Myrte: Institut Pasteur Charity Concert

Institut Pasteur Japan office will offer a series of Piano Trio Concerts during its culture week in November. Dr. Toshiki Eri, a Japanese medical doctor now working on immunology at Institut Pasteur in Paris, is also a pianist. He created Piano Trio Myrte in Paris with the violinist Reiko Kitahama, formerly second violinist in Ravel quartet, principal second violinist of Opéra National de Lyon, and professor at CNSMD de Lyon, and the violoncellist Christophe Beau, a member of Ravel Quartet and Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

The program will consist of the Piano Trio by the great French composer Gabriel Fauré, Mozart’s Piano Trio C-dur K.548, and Schumann’s 3rd trio g-moll.

Proceeds from the concerts will be donated to the Institut Pasteur for its research activities in France and Japan for the advancement of science, medicine, and public health.

• November 5th (Sat) at 3 pm at Yanaka Music Hall：concert on November 5th in Yanaka is fully booked
