Yoshiki Tsurumaki Joins LPA Tokyo as Head Partner of Japanese Law Practice

We are pleased to announce that Yoshiki Tsurumaki has joined the firm as Head Partner of the Japanese Law Practice.
With more than 23 years of experience in Japanese and international legal practice, Yoshiki has advised Japanese and international clients across a broad range of areas, including domestic and cross-border M&A, finance, capital markets, ESG investment, real estate, data centres, technology, data, cybersecurity, general corporate matters and dispute resolution.
Through this appointment, LPA Tokyo further strengthens its capability to support both domestic Japanese matters and cross-border transactions, assisting Japanese companies in their overseas expansion as well as foreign companies and investors entering and expanding in the Japanese market.
Yoshiki will lead the Japanese law practice in Tokyo while also enhancing collaboration with LPA Law’s offices across Europe and Asia. LPA Tokyo aims to provide practical legal services that deeply reflect Japanese corporate perspectives and decision-making processes, while also responding to the evolving international business environment.
Yoshiki’s arrival marks an important step in further strengthening LPA Tokyo’s Japanese law practice and Japan-related cross-border capabilities.
