With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, confectionery, and venture capital, she has played key leadership roles, including General Manager of Ladurée Japan and Brand Manager at Global Dining K.K.

Ms. Akahori began her career in venture capital before transitioning to the food industry, bringing strategic expertise in brand development and business growth. Appointed as a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France), she is also a Board Member of Second Harvest Japan, the country’s largest food bank, reflecting her commitment to social impact.

Ms. Akahori has spent many years working across cultures and industries, dedicated to contributing to the growth and evolution of Japan’s culinary landscape.
