Fredrik HARFORS
General Manager
Fredrik Harfors brings 22 years of experience with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, including leadership at award-winning Hyatt hotels in Jakarta and Bangkok.
Born in Sweden, Harfors studied restaurant and hotel management at Washington State University and started his career at Hyatt Regency Chicago in 2001. In addition, he gained vast experience at Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt properties in Hong Kong, Sydney, Vietnam, and China. In 2013, Harfors was appointed Hotel Manager of Grand Hyatt Jakarta.
In 2016, he headed the pre-opening phase of Park Hyatt Bangkok as Hotel Manager before being appointed General Manager of Park Hyatt Jakarta from its pre-opening in 2017 until his move to Tokyo. Current position from April 2023.
