The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan is glad to announce the next event of the Women in Business committee that will take place on September 16, 2021.

June Miyachi, President and CEO of Cartier Japan, and Virginie Cavalli, CEO of Air Liquide Japan will share their own experience on how to lead teams as women during a pandemic, how to keep engagement from the teams and address the new business challenges induced by this unprecedented crisis.

Speaker : June MIYACHI

President & CEO, Cartier Japan

June Miyachi became the President & CEO of Cartier Japan, Richemont Japan K.K., in August 2020, as the first Japanese female President.

June joined Cartier Japan as Marketing & Communication Director in 2017, and led some of the recent local initiatives such as the “Cartier Konbini” (2018), and “Cartier, Crystallization of Time” exhibition (2019). Prior to joining Cartier, she has developed her career in fashion, wines & spirits, and investment banking, in Japan and HK. She obtained her MBA from INSEAD, and a BA in law from Kyoto University.

June is a mother of three children.

Speaker : Virginie CAVALLI

President and CEO of Air Liquide Japan G.K.

Virginie Cavalli began her career in France with the Air Liquide Group in 1992 as an internal auditor.

She was transferred in 1995 to the US to exert the Internal Audit function for the Americas zone. She spent the next 10 years taking on a diverse spectrum of responsibilities across the group from Finance to Operations Control to Project Management.In 2007, Virginie was appointed the Managing Director for Air Liquide in Chile, responsible for traversing Air Liquide’s business in Chile through the high volatility and instability that defined South America during this period.In 2011, Virginie was appointed as Vice-President for the Industrial Merchant Business Line for the Asia-Pacific Zone based in Singapore.On November 1st 2019, Virginie was appointed CEO, Air Liquide Japan, based in Tokyo. Air Liquide Japan covers all the activities of the Air Liquide Group through +80 sites, >2000 people and represents >1Beuros sales.

Virginie is the mother of three children. Her hobbies include triathlon, traveling and mentoring young people.
