Gala Fukuoka 2024

It is our pleasure to announce that the 2024 Fukuoka Gala Party will take place on Wednesday, June 12 at 18:15, at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka.

The event is organized in partnership with the twinned city of Fukuoka: Bordeaux, and the newly starred in the Michelin Guide, Chef Mathieu Martin, will come all the way from the Aquitaine region to prepare an exceptional menu for the occasion.

This is a special opportunity to enjoy French gastronomy, supported by Les Vins de Bordeaux !

Dan Tsukamoto - Ballet Principal dancer

His journey began at the age of 5 when he started ballet training. Joining the Tokyo Ballet Company in 2008, he reached the role of principal dancer in 2013. He has distinguished himself in numerous roles, including Yorinosuke in "The Kabuki", Prince Désiré in Malakhov's version of "Sleeping Beauty," Albrecht in "Giselle," Solor in "La Bayadère," Basile in "Don Quixote," James in "La Sylphide," the Prince in "The Nutcracker," as well as the Prince Siegfried in "Boléro" and "Swan Lake."

Hina Oga - Ballet Mistress

From April 2009 to April 2018, as a member of the NBA Ballet Company, Hina Oga notably performed alongside principal dancers from the Tokyo Ballet Company, Mr. Dan Koshimoto and Mr. Yasuomi Akimoto, in shows across Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. She also took part in the Munich International Ballet Forum, where she won the Best Instructor Award at the Victoire Competition in August 2023. She is now the director of Ballet Blanc Art studios in Tokyo, Saitama, and Fukuoka.

Aiko De Menis - Piano

Graduated from the Department of Francophone Culture Studies at Gakushuin University and holding a diploma from the Shofu Fukuoka Academy, Aiko De Menis began playing the piano at the age of 3, followed by classical ballet at the age of 5. She studied piano with Eiko Yamashita and ballet with Yuriko Miyagi. In 2015, she studied in the United States and became a music therapist pianist at New York General Hospital for music therapy. She won the bronze at the 8th International Piano Competition in Europe in Asia. Today, as the communications manager at Ballet Blanc Art, she teaches dance, piano, and trilingualism.

Ballet Blanc Art, with studios in Akasaka Fukuoka, Roppongi, and Saitama, offers ballet classes accompanied by piano, as well as piano, English, and French lessons, making it an ideal choice for girls' artistic education. By inviting principal dancers from ballet companies and popular dancers as guests, the studio is renowned for its technical excellence, and its end-of-year performances are highly anticipated and greatly appreciated.
