On the occasion of the launch of our new podcast “Itinéraires singuliers: journeys & success stories”, we are delighted to invite you to an exceptional evening on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:30 pm at L’Espace (Tokyo). 
The evening will combine entrepreneurial inspiration, convivial networking, and a tasting of cocktails made with Nagura rum!

Join the public recording of a French-language episode hosted by Annatituude, featuring the inspiring journey of François Combes, a French entrepreneur based in Ishigaki and founder of the Nagura distillery.

THE GUEST

François Combes
Strategy and Investment Expert – Founder of Ishigaki Distillery

With over 30 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region, François Combes has supported the growth of international groups and led investments in key sectors such as healthcare, biotechnology, real estate, and technology.

A French-Japanese entrepreneur, he currently manages a Family Office from Singapore and Japan through his companies FIZ Consulting PTE Ltd and IFC Holdings KK.

He is also the founder of Nagura, the first craft rum from Ishigaki, which won a gold medal at the IWSC in London in 2025.

Earlier in his career, he held several executive positions at Guerbet, Pierre Fabre Japan, and Naos Japan.

Atsushi Nakayama

Founder of Bar Lamp in Ginza and a bartender for 25 years, Atsushi Nakayama is a leading figure in the Japanese rum scene. After training in bars in Yokohama and Tokyo, he opened a rum-specialty bar in Ginza in 2004. Since then, he has promoted rum culture through events and seminars across Japan.

He has visited 42 rum distilleries abroad and 6 in Japan. The private bottlings of Barlamp Selection have attracted attention both domestically and internationally.
