CORONAVIRUS : adjusting your travel plans with Air France

To help you to adjust your travel plans in light of the ongoing health crisis, we have put in place exceptional measures throughout our network.

YOU ARE ABROAD AND WISH TO RETURN TO EUROPE

We offer special fares for French and European citizens and residents who wish to return to Europe. 

  • If you have a ticket for a flight operated by Air France, we recommend to anticipate your return to Europe as soon as possible, by changing your booking online in the "My Bookings" section of our website or mobile application. You can also contact your sales agent. 

If you wish, you can buy a new ticket at a special fare. You can then cancel your initial flight and obtain a credit valid for 1 year on all Air France, KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic flights.

  • If you do not have a ticket for a flight operated by Air France, you can purchase a ticket on our website or from an Air France sales outlet and benefit from our special fares. 

Please note that only nationals and residents of the European Union, the Schengen area and United Kingdom, and their family members, are allowed to travel to France.

This one way special fare is available for the travel period until June 15th, 2020.

YOU WANT TO POSTPONE YOUR TRIP

If you have purchased a ticket for a flight departing before 3 July 2020you can postpone your departure date without change fees, subject to the availability in the same travel cabin. Any changes to your flight must be made before its scheduled departure. Your new trip must begin no later than 30 November 2020 included.

If you wish to travel on or after 1 December 2020, you can also postpone your departure date without any change fee. It the fare type mentioned in your ticket is not available, you may need to pay the fare difference.

YOU WANT TO CANCEL YOUR TRIP

If you have purchased a ticket at a travel agency for a flight departing before 3 July 2020 and you no longer wish to travel, please contact them for further information.

If you purchased a ticket directly from our website or at an Air France agency for a flight departing before 3 July 2020 and you no longer wish to travel, you can request a travel voucher from the "My Bookings" section of our website or mobile application. This non-refundable voucher is valid for 1 year on all Air France, KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic flights and Kenya Airways flights.

If you have purchased a ticket at a travel agency and your flight has been canceled, we invite you to contact them directly for further information.

YOU WANT TO PLAN A TRIP

Book with confidence. For any booking made before 31 March 2020, you have until 30 September 2020 to postpone your departure date without change fees, subject to availability of the same fare. Your new trip must begin no later than 30 November 2020.

Before making any travel arrangements, please contact the relevant national authorities to check entry and stay requirements in your destination and transit countries. Travel restrictions are already in force for many nationalities or for travelers who have recently visited certain countries. These restrictions may change at very short notice. Please be advised that you should make your own arrangements (such as accommodation or alternative travel options) to mitigate the risk.
