Launch of the 2025 France Japan Foundation Young Leaders Seminar
The France Japan Foundation is proud to announce the first edition of its Young Leaders seminar, to be held in France—between Paris and Strasbourg—from May 8 to 11, 2025. This
program will bring together 27 promising French and Japanese young leaders from diverse sectors to strengthen bilateral relations and foster new forms of cooperation.
Established under the aegis of the France Asia Foundation, the France Japan Foundation is dedicated to reinforcing ties between France and Japan. It builds upon more than a decade of work carried out by its sister organizations, the France China Foundation and the France India Foundation. Its mission is to generate synergies between emerging leaders from both countries and promote initiatives that deepen mutual understanding.
At the heart of this mission is the Young Leaders Program, designed to build a dynamic community of influential decision-makers committed to long-term Franco-Japanese cooperation in key areas such as economy, diplomacy, innovation, and culture. The 2025 Young Leaders seminar will take place in two phases:
- In Paris (May 8–9), the delegation will attend conferences, engage in high-level meetings, and visit key institutions.
- In Strasbourg (May 10–11), participants will immerse themselves in the workings of the
European Parliament, engage in international policy discussions, and explore the shared culinary traditions of France and Japan.
The program will feature strategic discussions, emblematic site visits, and curated networking sessions to cultivate enduring connections among participants.
The list of candidates will be announced soon!
