Crêpe party in Kansai!

[Translate to Anglais:] Soirée Crêpe Kansai

Candlemas is originally a religious holiday, but nowadays it is mostly the occasion to eat crêpes and... make new acquaintances!

Being a crêpe enthusiast, it would have been a shame to miss such an opportunity to make and eat some!

Considering how fast our 10 guests made the hundred crêpes 🥞 prepared by yours truly disappear, they shared that belief. This dinner, which was meant to be relaxed and informal, was originally intended to animate our Osaka Business Center. Our goal is indeed to increase conviviality between all the representatives of our resident companies, which are renting the office space provided by the CCIFJ inside our walls.

Our friends from Air France KLM did answer the call, but they were not alone to join us. Eventually many distinguished guests surrendered to the crêpes' perfume and came to Avanza to sit around the meeting table with us. The conference room had been turned into a dining room of sort for the occasion. Honey, chocolate, sugar, jam, ham & eggs: there was something for every taste. A few bottles, some of them graciously offered by Morikawa Clinic from Kobe, helped loosen the tongues and warm the atmosphere.

Mr. Seiichirō Hayashi, our Ambassador of the Chamber in Kyoto and undisputed life of the party, amused everybody with his witticism, which would belong in a French salon. Always kind and quick, he offered that everyone attending the party would say a few words before leaving, so as to alleviate the melancholy of ending the evening. A news, an announcement, anything that would be worth sharing with the assistance. Everybody complied, and not only did it allow us to know each other better, but it also gave everyone a good chance to give some information regarding an upcoming event, a flagship product or a commercial campaign.

After this final salutation, we all went our way, with a light heart and a heavy stomach.

This might become a new tradition in Osaka!...
