ME.LAND : French shoes brand

CCI France Japan and Business France had the pleasure of organizing a mission in October 2023 on behalf of the French Federation of Footwear. The purpose of this mission was to prospect for a delegation of 7 companies and to arrange qualitative meetings for them. A showroom presenting French brands to Japanese prospects was also set up, making good use of l’Espace at the CCI France Japan.

 

It was during this mission that ME.LAND, one of the French brands, was able to establish connections with certain Japanese prospects. These connections quickly led to an order and discussions with new partners. It is noteworthy here the particular speed with which the contract was concluded, unusual for the Japanese market. This illustrates that when supply and demand complement each other perfectly, discussions can progress rapidly.

 

As a result, since April 2024, the French brand ME.LAND has been present in around ten stores of its Japanese distributor.
