The second tapestry of the series "Hayao Miyazaki's imagination captured in Aubusson tapestry" will be unveiled to the public

The Cité internationale de la tapisserie in Aubusson, France, has signed an agreement with Japanese Studio Ghibli for the creation of five Aubusson tapestries based on images from the animated films of director Hayao Miyazaki.

After 12 months of weaving at the Manufacture Robert Four in Aubusson, the second tapestry of the series "Hayao Miyazaki's imagination captured in Aubusson tapestry" will be unveiled to the public on 20th January 2023 in the auditorium of the Cité internationale de la tapisserie.

This tapestry, based on an image from the film "Spirited away", will be 3 metres high and 7.5 metres long.
