PARSYS : Telemedecal solution

In 2023, as part of a collective mission organized by CCI France Japon and Business France, in partnership with the Ile de France Region, the telemedicine company Parsys, along with other companies from the Île-de-France region, benefited from a prospecting mission in Japan.

 

This was the second mission for Parsys, the first having taken place in 2021. This mission provided an opportunity for Parsys to meet new prospects and establish new partnerships. Following this mission, and after several years of operation, Parsys finally concluded a partnership with Sharemedical, a Japanese company in the telehealth and medical devices sector.

 

"Penetrating the Japanese market proves challenging for French companies due to significant barriers such as language and cultural differences. Faced with these challenges, many hesitate to engage in it. Moreover, to succeed in this market, it is crucial to offer an innovative solution. If a similar solution already exists, Japanese companies generally prefer a local option due to ease of communication, local support, and absence of time zone differences. My personal experience perfectly illustrates these obstacles.

Upon my arrival in Japan, I attempted to contact Japanese prospects without success. I then sought assistance from CCIFJ for an initial prospecting mission, which allowed me to secure several meetings, including one with a company to which I had previously sent multiple unanswered messages. It was during this meeting that I made my first contact with Sharemedical. Subsequently, we remained in contact with Sharemedical's president, but without finalizing a collaboration project. Last November's mission was decisive. Thanks to the work and support of my project leader, Ms. Takahara, and my translator, Ms. Miki, we were able to overcome the final obstacles and finalize a partnership agreement between our two companies."
