Founded in 1958, INA FOOD INDUSTRY Co., Ltd. specializes in the manufacture of natural plant-based gelling agents including kanten (also known was agar-agar), used in cooking. Its headquarters are located in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture. The company also operates farms and a sake brewery.
