As part of Nihonbashi Space Week, the Aeronautics Conference 2026, hosted by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, will bring together leading decision-makers and experts in Tokyo on December 2 to explore the strategic forces shaping the future of the aerospace and aeronautics industries.
AI, advanced technologies and next-generation aerospace systems: at the intersection of French and Japanese industrial excellence, this exclusive event will offer privileged insights into the sector’s major transformations, emerging competitiveness challenges and new opportunities for strategic Franco-Japanese cooperation.
The program will include:
Panel 1 - Space Sustainability and Earth Resilience: Building Responsible Space Ecosystems
Panel 2 - Scaling the Drone Industry: Innovation, Industrialization and Cross-Border Collaboration
Panel 3 - Financing and Investment in the Commercial Aircraft Sector

The Ailes Rouges project ("Akai-Tsubasa") commemorates André Japy's Paris-Tokyo raid on a Caudron Simoun, which was cut short in 1936 by a crash near Mount Sefuri just 1,000 km from its destination, aiming to fly the restored aircraft along this final stretch to Tokyo. In 2026, events in France and Japan will mark the 90th anniversary of this flight and celebrate French-Japanese relations.
