Mathieu MARTINCCIFJ Fukui Ambassador, responsible for French, German, and American markets at Hironen Co., Ltd.

Mathieu Martin, a 40-year-old native of Vendée, France, has been living in Japan for 17 years and serves as the CCIFJ Ambassador for the Fukui region. A graduate of a textile engineering school, he first established ties with Fukui during a university exchange. He later began his career there after completing his final-year internship in the area.
For more than eight years, he has worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Hironen Co., LTD., a textile company where he manages the French, German, and American markets. One of his most significant achievements was seeing a product he developed displayed in a storefront on Madison Avenue in New York City.

Becoming an ambassador was a stroke of luck, according to him, and he has seized the opportunity to leverage his experience and network to benefit the Chamber. His goal is to increase the CCIFJ's visibility among Fukui's textile companies and to strengthen ties with the local Franco-Japanese association, thereby bringing France and the region even closer together.
