Michele Kang is a trailblazing businesswoman, investor and philanthropist dedicated to advancing women’s sports globally. She is the owner of the Washington Spirit, OL Lyonnes and London City Lionesses and, in 2024, launched Kynisca, the first global multi-team organization focused on professionalizing women’s football and demonstrating its commercial potential. 

In mid-2025, she expanded her leadership in European football by taking over as president of Olympique Lyonnais to lead its financial restructuring and development. Her broader investments in the ecosystem include IDA Sports and Just Women’s Sports, and philanthropic support for U.S. Soccer through which the Kang Women’s Institute accelerates advancements in the women’s game through science, innovation, and elevated best practices.
