MIZUTA Haruka

Director of the International Trade Division at IBA Co., Ltd. and founder of the "France Ballet Academy" dance school, Ms. Haruka Mizuta moved to Paris at the age of 11, without speaking a word of French at the time.

She spent 12 years of her life there, attending middle and high school and fully immersing herself in the French language and culture. After earning a scientific baccalaureate, she continued her studies at the Sorbonne. She traveled to 50 cities across 17 countries, building an international network spanning five continents and gaining firsthand experience of cultural differences.

As Director of the International Trade Division at IBA Co., Ltd., she also works as an interpreter at events such as seminars organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in the aerospace sector, notably at the Aeromart Toulouse trade show. She also gives talks on intercultural understanding and multicultural coexistence to businesses and local communities, and leads “Dream Design” workshops for primary and secondary school students.

She began studying classical dance at the age of three and later trained in France, the birthplace of ballet. She studied with a principal dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet, graduated from the Conservatoire, and earned a Diploma of Choreographic Studies (DEC). She subsequently founded the France Ballet Academy and completed the pedagogical training program at the Paris Opera Ballet School. In 2026, she launched the “World Ballet Class” project, aiming to provide standardized ballet training globally to the next generation of dancers. She is also active in various other fields, notably through a partnership with Chacott, the leading Japanese brand of ballet wear.
