Virginie LEFEVRECCIFJ Fukui Ambassador, founder and director of the brand Viruxiny and the shop 7amour

After studying Law, Art, and Fashion, she began her career as a designer for major international brands in Paris, London, Canada, and the United States. She moved to Japan 25 years ago to teach fashion at Esmod Tokyo, where she eventually settled permanently.

Based in Fukui for the past 19 years, she founded her own company and developed a brand that is 100% locally produced. Her creations are now distributed through pop-up events in many major Japanese department stores (such as Isetan, Hankyu, Mitsukoshi, etc.). At the same time, she works as a freelance collaborator with several local companies and actively contributes to the region’s artistic and media landscape (including a Fukui TV Pink Ribbon campaign, NHK interviews, and regional press features).

Recognized for her strong local expertise and commitment to promoting regional craftsmanship, Virginie serves as an Ambassador of the CCIFJ, working to strengthen economic and cultural ties between France and Fukui.
