Introduction

« We are delighted and proud to collaborate with the AEON Group on “AEON FRANCE FAIR - BONJOUR FRANCE 2026,” held across Japan.
This event will be an opportunity to introduce France’s culture, art de vivre, and craftsmanship to the Japanese public. France and Japan share many common values, from unique culinary traditions and celebrated artisanal heritage to expertise and savoir-faire recognized around the world. These affinities foster a strong mutual interest between our two cultures, a bond we are deeply committed to nurturing by sharing the best that France has to offer.
“AEON FRANCE FAIR - BONJOUR FRANCE 2026” will showcase different companies and a wide variety of products, carefully selected by our teams for their quality. French excellence arrives in Japan starting April 24, and we hope many of you will take home a little piece of France. »
Jérôme CHOUCHAN, President of CCI France Japon, President and CEO of Godiva Japan

« On the occasion of 'BONJOUR FRANCE,' the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan and its partners invite you to discover or rediscover the French Art de Vivre, the excellence, the richness, and the variety of French products and savoir-faire. Through gourmet encounters and discoveries, the key moments of this campaign throughout 2026 will be opportunities to further strengthen the long-standing friendship that unites our two countries. »

Chefs

Patric PACHON
Born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and a French father, himself the son of one of the pioneers of French gastronomy in Japan, André Pachon, Patric Pachon belongs to a family lineage deeply rooted in the culinary sphere for over 56 years.
After completing his studies at the Lycée Français International de Tokyo, he pursued hospitality training in Carcassonne. He further enriched his experience by working in prestigious establishments in France, as at the restaurant Le Tastevin in Maisons-Laffitte, before gaining unique experience at the Palais de l’Élysée and refining his expertise at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.
Upon returning to Tokyo, he joined his father alongside his brother Thierry to take over and develop the family establishments, Restaurant Pachon, Le Petit Bedon, and Comptoir Occitan. Deeply attached to his Occitan roots, he is committed to promoting the region through his cuisine and a carefully curated selection of wines.
In 2024, he was crowned World Champion of Cassoulet de Toulouse in Tokyo, becoming a true ambassador of this iconic specialty and its terroir.
Highly active beyond his establishments, he regularly serves on prestigious juries such as the Coupe Georges Baptiste and the Japan Cheese Contest. He also frequently appears in Japanese media and television programs.
He is a member of the Académie Culinaire de France and the Académie Universelle du Cassoulet.

Fanny Fernandes
Fanny Fernandes is a French chef from the south of France. She grew up in an environment deeply rooted in culinary traditions and family values, influenced by both of her parents, particularly her mother, who is from Occitanie and worked in the restaurant industry.
Within her family, food always played a central role, with long meals shared together, conversations around recipes, and a strong culture of gathering around the table.
She moved to Japan in 2010 and immediately dedicated herself to cooking, with the aim of sharing a cuisine that is warm, family-oriented, sincere, and accessible.
In 2021, she opened Cocotte Cuisine in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo — a bistro and delicatessen inspired by her roots — where she offers authentic and approachable dishes from the south of France and the Mediterranean.
